Assistant Manager Procurement – Contract Logistics

The Assistant Manager Procurement – Contract Logistics will be responsible for managing sourcing, vendor onboarding, tendering, operational purchasing, and procurement support activities for Maersk Contract Logistics operations. The role requires close coordination with operations, finance, and regional procurement teams to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and efficient procurement of goods, services, CAPEX items, and third-party services across warehousing, middle mile transport, cold chain, and depot operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and initiate vendor pre-qualification and onboarding activities.
Analyze vendor profiles and evaluate commercial proposals in the best interest of the company.
Prepare RFIs, RFPs, annual tenders, and procurement documentation as per business requirements.
Manage tendering processes through Keelvar and support vendor onboarding via Ironclad and SAP.
Develop and maintain category-wise vendor databases.
