Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our soil, mulch, and aggregate bulk supply business. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, practical yard experience, and a customer-focused mindset.

Location: 340 Regional Road 20, Hannon.
Employment Type: Ridge Soils

Pay: $25/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager with daily operations of the yard and retail counter.
  • Supervise staff and coordinate workloads.
  • Provide excellent customer service and product advice.
  • Manage stock levels, deliveries, and supplier coordination.
  • Operate and oversee loading products.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Handle cash, invoicing, and basic administrative tasks.
  • Step in as Acting Manager when required.
