Job Description
Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for the profitable growth and development of the Retail and Motor business. The primary role comprises of underwriting, product and proposition development
- Retail business refers to all personal lines classes including Home, PA, Travel excluding Motor
- Identify target customers segments and development new products for targeted segments
- Negotiate, underwrite, accept and renew business within personal risk acceptance authority
- Review pricing of products and portfolio with actuary in achieving sustainable and profitable growth
- Provide advice on product coverage and underwriting intention
- Provide product training to business units
- Work with Underwriting Governance on risks acceptance guidelines Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with company guidelines
