Assistant Manager, SPC

Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for the profitable growth and development of the Retail and Motor business. The primary role comprises of underwriting, product and proposition development
Retail business refers to all personal lines classes including Home, PA, Travel excluding Motor
Identify target customers segments and development new products for targeted segments
Negotiate, underwrite, accept and renew business within personal risk acceptance authority
Review pricing of products and portfolio with actuary in achieving sustainable and profitable growth
Provide advice on product coverage and underwriting intention
Provide product training to business units
Work with Underwriting Governance on risks acceptance guidelines Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with company guidelines
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and Group policies as are relevant to the role
