Assistant Manager Taxation

Simpaisa is hiring for an Assistant Manager Taxation based in Karachi. The Assistant Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing various tax-related activities, including tax planning, compliance, preparation, and ensuring adherence to tax laws

Job Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of tax strategies.
• Monitoring regulatory changes, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.
• Manage timely filing of Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, SST, and all statutory returns.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual tax computations, including deferred tax.
• Oversee withholding tax deductions, deposits, and certificate issuance.
• Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, appeals, and coordination with tax authorities (FBR, SRB, PRA, etc.).
• Conduct tax analysis for new business initiatives and review contracts for tax compliance.
