Assistant Manager, Technical

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research related to accounting & auditing standards.
• Assist in performing quality assurance review on audit engagement files and monitor remedial plan and follow-up action plan.
• Assist in preparing and updating audit working paper templates & checklists.
• Conduct training to auditors on auditing and accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Possess a professional qualification and a Degree in Accountancy.
• A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
• Minimum 5 years of external audit experience and candidates who are working with major or medium-sized auditing firm or accounting bodies will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge in Companies Act, Accounting and Auditing Standards.
• Analytic and communicate well in English (oral & written).
