Responsibilities

• Inspections on the raw materials batching system, pre-heater feeding and furnace floors.
• Ensuring that the furnace is properly loaded.
• Conducting inspections on all floors of the furnace building.
• Assist with electrode paste loading, monitoring paste temperatures and replacing thermocouples when necessary.
• Assist to operate the furnace in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
• Ensuring good housekeeping in the area of responsibility.
• Operating the computerized loading system for feeding raw material into the furnace.
• Adhering to all HSECQ requirements to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
