The Department of Clinical Genetics of Fox Chase Cancer Center invites applications for a full-time assistant professor or associate professor position. Applicants should have a clinical background in medical oncology with interest/training in Clinical Cancer Genetics and Cancer Risk Assessment. In the clinical setting, this individual will practice in weekly disease-specific medical oncology clinics, a weekly high-risk clinic as well as genetic counseling results disclosures in conjunction with our genetic counseling staff. Our Risk Assessment Program was established in 1991 as one of the first in the nation to offer comprehensive services aimed at personalizing cancer risk estimation, prevention, and early diagnosis. Since that time, our high-volume clinical program has expanded beyond main campus operations with weekly genetic counseling appointments offered at our Buckingham, Chestnut Hill, East Norriton, and Temple main sites, which is supported by our 8 genetic counselors.
