Assistant Professor

Job Purpose:

Assistant Professor is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the academic programmes within the respective faculty or centre. This includes designing, developing, and delivering course content in line with the approved curriculum, as well as evaluating teaching effectiveness through structured assessments. The role also plays a critical part in advancing the university's research agenda by maintaining an active research portfolio within their area of expertise. This includes undertaking individual or collaborative research projects and supervising postgraduate research students.
