About the Role

The Department of Accounting and Finance in the Bissett School of Business at Mount Royal University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position will commence on July 01, 2026. This position will be hired into the Teaching-Scholarship-Service (TSS) work pattern. The TSS work pattern focuses on teaching (the equivalent of six (6) three-hour classes per academic year), conducting research, and providing service at the Department, Faculty, and/or University levels. The selected candidate will teach introductory and advanced level courses such as, but not limited to: introduction to finance, financial risk management, insurance and risk management, estate planning, and income tax planning.
