Assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery - #Faculty

Position Description

I. Specific Responsibilities and Duties

In addition to mutually agreed upon goals to be developed in partnership with the department director, and the division chief, the assistant professor shall assume the following responsibilities and duties:

Clinical: Service commensurate with your skills in pediatric and congenital cardiac surgery at a clinical commitment of 80% effort. You are expected to support the pediatric cardiac surgery service call (approximately 50% of total call coverage). We expect you to be clinical 4 days/week. Your practice will focus on complex pediatric cardiac surgical patients ranging from neonates to adult congenital cases, including pediatric cardiac transplantation. In partnership with the Chief Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon, you will support all other divisional clinical needs including, but not limited to: consult services, pre- and post-op ambulatory care, bedside procedural needs, and multidisciplinary r...
