Responsibilities

Responsibilities are often split into academic, clinical, and administrative duties:

• Teaching & Learning:
  • Deliver engaging lectures, facilitate workshops, and conduct practical/lab sessions for BSN and potentially graduate-level nursing students.
  • Prepare course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and handouts.
  • Use diverse teaching and assessment methodologies to foster student learning.
  • Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students.
• Clinical Practice & Supervision:
  • Supervise, evaluate, and mentor students in hospital wards, clinical areas, and community health settings.
  • Serve as a professional role model for students in clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with hospital personnel and other healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care experiences for students.
