Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream - Accounting

Overview

The Institute for Management & Innovation (IMI) at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a full-time teaching-stream position in Accounting. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2027.

Applicants must have earned a PhD in a relevant field (such as a PhD in Accounting) by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter. Alternatively, applicants must have earned a graduate degree in a relevant field (Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Accounting, Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, Master of Management and Professional Accounting, Master of Taxation) and have at least three (3) years of professional work experience. A recognized professional accounting designation, with preference for a Canadian designation, is an asset.
