Assistant Resident Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Roles

• Support effective contract administration by maintaining accurate records, correspondence, site instructions, drawings registers, and monthly progress reports.

• Assist in measurement and quantity calculations for payment certification and contract control.

• Ensure compliance with contract documentation and uphold the intent and requirements of the contract.

• Monitor and promote quality assurance and health & safety compliance on site.

• Assist in verifying contractor setting out and material quality through inspections and testing.

• Identify and report discrepancies or omissions in drawings and contract documents to the Resident Engineer (RE).

• Maintain effective communication between the RE, Contractor, and Client.
