Assistant Sales Tax Analyst

About Position

The Assistant Sales Tax Analyst will be working closely and assisting the senior team members with the day‑to‑day tasks of the Perseus team to develop an understanding of standard processes which have an impact on the Business Unit and Corporate Financial Statements. They will be able to practice their technical accounting knowledge and work toward process improvement while working with other professionals to learn current accounting practices adopted in the software and service industry.

What will you learn

• Be able to contribute to the US Sales Tax department at Contour Office and ensure compliance with US sales and use tax regulations and handling of GST/HST (Canada) and VAT (European) and GST (Australian) matters.
• Learn existing sales tax filings process, tax rate updates, reconciliations, and data analysis.
• Learn how to use Microsoft Great Plains as Accounting Software and its reporting tools.
