Assistant Store Manager - In Training

Overview

The Assistant Store Manager is a key position within the store environment and performs a wide variety of duties under the direction of the Store Manager. In the absence of the Store Manager, performs the duties of the Store Manager. This includes supervising staff, store presentation, merchandising and inventory rotation, customer service, store sales, and store administration. This hands‑on position trains and supervises store associates and ensures a safe and healthy work environment.

• Foster a positive workplace and team environment through open communication
• Motivate and inspire store associates
• Cross‑train store associates and volunteers to do various jobs within the thrift store
• Provide ongoing training, feedback and performance reviews for store associates
