Job Description
Seeking an energetic, detail orientated and hands-on Assistant store manager to join our team at a busy retail hardware store.
The ideal candidate will support the store manager in daily operations with focus on excellent customer service, staff management and driving to increase sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in daily operations
Supervise and motivate staff
Manage inventory & minimize shrinkage
Maintain Merchandising standards (pricing, displays, etc.)
Requirements:
Prior experience in hardware retail
2-3 years experience in managerial / supervisory position
Strong people management & Leadership skills
Excellent communication & Problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Good understanding of stock control and POS systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R8 000,00 - R11 000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
