Tax Compliance
Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant tax laws, including the Income Tax Act 1967, Goods and Services Tax (GST) (if applicable), and other statutory requirements.
Prepare and review the filing of corporate tax returns (Form C), individual tax filings, and other tax-related documents for the company and its employees.
Stay up-to-date with changes in Malaysian tax laws and regulations, and ensure the organization adheres to any updates.
2. Tax Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely tax reports, including tax provisions, tax compliance filings, and financial statement disclosures related to taxes.
Work with auditors to ensure the tax position is appropriately reflected in the company's financial statements.
3. Tax Audits and Disputes
Manage tax audits and resolve any issues raised by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRB) or other tax authorities.
