Reporting to the Senior Early Interventionist (SEI) and working under the supervision of the SEI and Early Interventionist, the Assistant Teacher supports the teaching team to provide quality learning experiences for students and support the best deliverance of the curriculum.

The Assistant Teacher position is catered to applicants who are currently enrolled or are eligible to be enrolled into the Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (SDESN)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Curriculum & Instructional Excellence

  • Develop lessons, design activities and prepare lesson resources for teaching and learning
  • Implement appropriate modes of assessment, independently or under supervision, to evaluate student needs to develop appropriate individualised learning objectives and outcomes
