The Department of Chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University, located in Ames, Iowa invites candidates to apply for two term faculty teaching positions at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank. Responsibilities include large, in-person introductory courses as well as advanced undergraduate courses; course assignments may evolve over time and may include online teaching.


The initial teaching assignments are two courses per semester and service work within the department, which may focus on issues of TA management, undergraduate affairs, and other parts of the life of the department and the college.
