Assistant Vice President - Legal

Key Responsibilities:

1.Formulating legal strategy:

a) Devise legal recovery strategies for high-value and aging cases across retail and corporate loan portfolios.

b) Engage in negotiations and settlements where appropriate to maximize recovery.

2.Litigation Management:

a) Lead and manage litigation efforts, both civil and criminal, across various legal forums including DRT, NCLT, DM/CMM, and appellate courts.

b) Ensure timely and strategic legal actions for recovery of dues and enforcement of security interests.

3.Legal Drafting & Advisory:

a) Review and vet documents relating to assignment of loans , recovery notices, SARFAESI notices, pleadings (plaints, written statements, affidavits, replies, petitions), and settlement agreements.
