assistant warehouse manager

Job Summary:

To assist the Warehouse Manager in the planning and coordination of warehouse activities such as receiving, dispatching and transferring of items and supervision and training of assigned workers and provide a variety of staff assistance to the whole department.

Scope and Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring warehouse operations (ie., Dispatching, Receiving Importation)

2. Prepare the work schedule for the shifting schedule and supervise

a. Agency workers

b. Forklift Operators

c. Inventory Specialist

1. Counter checks the cutting of all items.

2. Gives instructions to forklift operators in their respective work assignments.

3. Trains, evaluates performance, coaches and mentors Checkers, Inventory Specialist, Forklift operators and trainees.

4. Assigns Inventory Specialist to other task intended for warehouse operation.
