Assistant Zoo Veterinarian

The role

Pristine has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Zoo Veterinarian to join our growing team at our zoo located in the Clark Safari - Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. In this full-time role, you will assist our experienced veterinary team in providing comprehensive medical care and treatment to the diverse animal population at our zoo.

Key responsibilities

1. Conduct routine health examinations and provide preventative care for the zoo's animal collection
2. Assist with the diagnosis, treatment and management of animal injuries and illnesses
3. Administer medications, vaccinations and perform minor surgical procedures as required
4. Collaborate with the animal care team to monitor the animals' overall health and well-being
5. Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
6. Participate in research and conservation efforts related to the zoo's animal population
