Job Overview

We are seeking an interview position to perform duties related to the processing of simple low value (LVS) shipments in accordance with Canadian Customs regulations and legislation. The role involves determining which of three generic harmonized codes applies to these shipments.

Responsibilities

• Process information for clearance of LVS shipments for customers who have designated Federal Express as their broker and for those who do not.
• Transmit customs LVS entry information for clearance within service standard time frames.
• Perform data entry of information required for LVS or HVS clearance using data from commercial invoices or customer database and input into the clearance system.
• Work within a PC Windows environment and maintain annual accreditations where applicable.
• Work varying shifts based on business needs.
