Responsibilities

• Manage buying deck comprised of Closures (Door Latches, Window Lift Systems) components
• Support achievement of annual SCM direct material cost targets
• Fill pipeline and execute projects to meet/exceed individual cost savings target
• Nominate qualified new suppliers to cross‑functional team for review and consideration
• Quote and source all responsible components to meet/exceed business case and timing requirements utilizing the Total Acquisition Cost Model
• Monitor and track supplier performance and initiate actions to improve as appropriate
• Schedule and participate in VAVE workshops
• Monitor, track & manage critical issues, develop backups, and ensure execution of supplier improvement plans
• Create management reports and presentations as requested
• Develop and maintain commodity strategies
