Associate Charterer

The Associate Charterer-Optimization supports the Optimisation Manager by providing commercial analysis, market insight, decision support to enable informed chartering decision whilst also providing Chartering cover as required. The role is crafted as a development position, building the skills required for progression into a more senior chartering role in a technology-enabled environment.
Key Accountabilities
Monitor freight markets, vessel supply and demand, oil export forecast in key regions with relevant trade flows.
Assist the Optimisation Manager in doing a weekly chartering review (tracking TCE on new fixtures, Expo, FFA positions and PnL)
Support evaluation of voyage opportunities using voyage economics and analytical tools.
Prepare concise market updates and commercial analyses for senior charterers.
Assist with post-fixture reviews and analysis of commercial outcomes.
