About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with strong expertise in IBM AIX and Power Systems, along with Linux administration across x86 and IBM Z environments. The role focuses on managing enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, performance optimization, and ensuring high system availability.
Requirements
Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM AIX on IBM Power Systems
Manage LPARs, VIOS, Shared Processor Pools, and perform Dynamic LPAR (DLPAR) operations
Perform AIX OS upgrades, Technology Level (TL), Service Pack (SP) updates, and system patching
Monitor and tune system performance (CPU, memory, and I/O)
Troubleshoot AIX kernel, filesystem, disk, and boot-related issues
Administer PowerVM virtualization and perform capacity planning
