The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Fabrication Specialist to join the Space Launch System (SLS) team in Kennedy Space Center, FL.
This position will support Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage Integration at NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB).
The ideal candidate has experience in one or more of the following: mechanical (tube installations), structural drilling and assembly, electrical (wire harness installation), and/or thermal protective systems application.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs machine set-up, machining, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks
Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks
Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
