CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The Faculty of Education at Nelson Mandela University invites applications for an Associate Lecturer position in English Home Language Literacy and English as an Additional Language. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic excellence of the faculty by teaching Foundation Phase students. The Associate Lecturer will also engage in research activities, participate in the administration and development of educational programs within the Primary School Education Department.

The incumbent will be required to:

• Develop and deliver English Home Language Literacy and English Additional Language modules at a Foundation Phase
level.
