The Senior Specialist – GL Accountant is responsible for managing the General Ledger (GL) and tax return activities, including review journal vouchers (JVs), account reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. This role ensures the accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Review journal entries to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
• Review account reconciliations for assigned GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Review and validate accounting transactions to ensure proper classification and documentation.
