Associate Physician - Hospitalist

AHS is looking for 2 Associate Physicians to work at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre Hospitalist Program. This is an alternate physician provider role in which the successful candidate will work with a limited medical license issued from the College of Physician and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). The incumbent will work within the Hospitalist group under the direction of an attending physician and within a multidisciplinary team setting to deliver acute patient care.

Description:

This Associate Physician position represents an opportunity created for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) to be selected and prepared for work as Associate Physicians in clinical departments. IMGs are landed immigrants, Canadian citizens and/or have employment authorization from the Canadian government and fulfill the program requirements. Applicants must have been successfully pre-screened through the Provincial CA Screening program prior to applying.
