The Associate Physician (AP) Inpatient Clinical Care serves as a physician extender to provide care to inpatients across the organization, including patients under the Medicine and Surgical Programs. On a day-to-day basis, the AP performs services within the scope of an AP’s clinical duties and responsibilities while under the supervision of an internist, but is accountable to the Lead Physician or documented delegate for the overall provision of quality of care and professional development.
