**Position Description:**

_The preference for the Associate Dean for Research is to be based on the Lubbock campus, with regular on-campus presence expected. This position also requires travel to other TTUHSC campuses for research collaboration and faculty development._

The Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship (ADR) provides leadership and has primary responsibility for establishing and advancing a visionary agenda for the School of Nursing's research and scholarly activities. The ADR leads the development and evaluation of research and scholarly activities. The ADR, acting in collaboration with the dean of the school, represents the school within TTUHSC and in the broader community on matters related to research and scholarly activities, and cultivates partnerships and opportunities.
