We seek a talented and motivated Research Associate I to assist in conducting a new NIH-funded study at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai examining the role of ghrelin in stress-induced changes in decision-making.

The Research Associate is an entry or mid-level researcher, responsible for conducting rodent research studies under the supervision of Dr. Ki Goosens and other lab members in the Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology at Mount Sinai. The individual will conduct studies in mice. Primary responsibilities will include running experiments, collecting and processing tissues and blood samples, running ELISA, immunostaining, and confocal imaging. The individual will also organize and analyze data, help prepare research articles for publication, order reagents, perform tasks to maintain lab safety, and arrange data to meet archiving requirements.
