Responsibilities


+ Oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, housekeeping, and safety of the Mill Electrical Distribution operation while monitoring Electrical Dispatch of Power throughout the Paper Mill and the tie with PJM

+ Balance electrical dispatching in the most cost-efficient way across Mill operations

+ Track the sale of excess power to the Met-Ed 115KV grid to ensure contractual obligations are met and maintenance is performed on a timely basis

+ Ensure turbine generators are scheduled for overhauls in the proper cycle to demonstrate good maintenance practices and compliance to code and insurance guidelines

+ Oversee all electrical capital work in the Power and Steam Department either personally or by assignment of another supervisor
