Astrophysicist | $80/hr Remote

Responsibilities

• Write original advanced Olympiad style astronomy problems to challenge frontier AI models.
• Evaluate AI generated solutions for correctness, clarity, and reasoning rigor.
• Identify logical flaws and insufficient derivations in model outputs.
• Provide clear, concise, and correct solutions formatted in LaTeX.
• Maintain high standards of scientific precision and problem difficulty.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in astronomy or related field, or experience in the International Astronomy Olympiad or equivalent competitions.
• Strong proficiency in LaTeX for technical writing and formatting.
• Deep understanding of theoretical and observational astronomy concepts.
• Strong analytical reasoning and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, research driven environment.
