Atelierista

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the operation of the Atelier in the assigned pre-schools. Support children's creativity and learning through working directly with children alongside teachers in rooms and specifically in the Atelier, to provide experiences and provocations for the children and to observe and document the learning process in detail. Work with other Educators to create mini-atelier spaces in the centre and within each classroom, providing a range of materials and tools to stimulate inquiry and support sustained learning. Ensure that there is a broad range of creative experiences available for the children at all times to encourage ideas, exploration and questions and develop their ability to express themselves in as many ways as possible. Undertake documentation and interpretation of children's learning processes, using narratives, photos, videos and posts to make learning visible.
