Athena Billing Specialist

About the role
We're hiring an experienced US Medical Biller with strong AthenaOne billing skills to support a multi-state medical practice. This role focuses on end-to-end billing in Athena Enhanced Claim Resolution (ECR)—from pre-claim/charge review through denials and patient balances. Telehealth billing exposure is a plus.

This is a work-from-home opportunity.

This is a full-time position, 30-40 hrs a week

The rate is $7-$9 an hour or Php 65, ,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare billing data and create/submit claims in Athena
• Work Athena billing workqueues/dashboards (claim holds, denials, follow-ups)
• Resolve claim issues: eligibility/COB, authorization, modifiers, coding edits, payer reprocessing, resubmissions/appeals
• Handle payment posting support and resolve payments that can't be posted cleanly
