**Certified Athletic Trainer – Northwest Nazarene University**

The Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) will work in a professional or collegiate sports environment, supporting athletes during practices, competitions, and return-to-play activities. This role partners closely with coaches, team management, and sports medicine physicians, and collaborates with the Outreach Athletic Trainer Supervisor on day-to-day sports medicine operations. The ATC is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and conditioning of athletes.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree in athletic training (Master’s degree preferred)
+ Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC)
+ Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Athletic Trainer in Idaho or Oregon
+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
