General Description

Responsible for the handling, distribution, and management of hospital linens, ensuring cleanliness, availability, and compliance with infection control standards.

Responsibilities

1. Linen Handling & Distribution: Responsible to ensure the quality and quantity of the linen received from the vendor. Collect, sort, and distribute clean and soiled linens to designated hospital departments. Ensure proper storage of clean linens in the assigned linen room. Maintain an adequate supply of linens for wards, operation theatres, and other hospital units. Monitor linen requests from various departments and ensure timely delivery. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) to ensure older stock is used first.
2. Hygiene & Infection Control Compliance: Adhere to hospital guidelines for infection control in linen handling. Ensure that soiled linens are segregated properly to prevent cross‑contamination. Handle infectious linens with appropriate p...
