ATTORNEY-ADVISOR (GENERAL)

Summary The primary purpose of this position is: To support the Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) as a senior attorney, providing legal advice and counsel for the most complex, often precedential, Direct Reporting Unit-level (MAJCOM and NAF equivalent) issues regarding general law matters to the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) commander, AFDW headquarters staff, three subordinate wings, the Pentagon, and units located worldwide. Responsibilities As a senior attorney, advises the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) Chief of General Law, the SJA (Staff Judge Advocate), the AFDW Commander, AFDW staff, subordinate organizations, Pentagon personnel at the Headquarters Air Force and Secretariat level, and Air Force organizations worldwide on a host of general law matters.
