Au pair required for a 6-year-old autistic female, in Grade 1, on the South Coast (Shelley Beach), KZN

Overview: The child in question is a sweet, inquisitive and energetic little girl. We are seeking somebody to spend time with her in the mornings before school and in the afternoons, as well as accompany her to her extra-curricular activities. The family is seeking full time support as both parents are working professionals. Main Purpose of the job: In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on this little girls development. Your responsibilities will include assisting with planning activities with her, building a relationship based on acceptance and trust, and getting to know her special interests and learning how to engage with her. Collaboration with her teachers and multidisciplinary team is necessary, to implement individualized strategies for her that are supportive of her own individual needs.
