Job Description
As an SMSF Accountant, you will be responsible for processing of client records and the preparation of workpapers and other year-end reports for the review of the SMSF Manager.
You will be provided adequate training and supervision to assist with your ongoing proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Review and process client records into BGL360/Class software.
Reconcile GST transactions and prepare Business Activity Statements for Funds that are registered for GST.
Having the ability to recognize client records required and transactions not able to be reconciled for the review of the SMSF manager and discussions with the client.
Preparation of draft year end reports and workpapers for review
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Ideally a minimum of 5 years as an SMSF accountant
Proficient in SMSF administration and compliance
Must have a strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations
