AU Tax Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billings, payments, bank uploads, finance logs, and report generation.
• Prepare financial statements and other reports, involving cash flow, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Accurate data entry and bookkeeping.
• Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS & FBT Returns.
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs and companies.
• Assist in overseeing and managing daily accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements.
• Perform detailed month-end and year-end closing activities, including complex reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
• Collaborating closely with senior accountants and managers on complex matter
