Audio Visual Technician

An Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for events, meetings, conferences, and other functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate microphones, speakers, projectors, LED screens, and video conferencing systems
• Install and configure AV equipment for meetings and events
• Conduct sound and video checks before events
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during events
• Maintain and repair AV equipment
• Coordinate with event organizers and clients regarding technical requirements
• Dismantle and properly store equipment after events
• Ensure equipment is handled safely and maintained properly

Qualifications:

• Vocational or technical certification in Electronics, IT, or related field with certificate
• Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role
