An Audiologist is a healthcare professional who works with those who have ear problems including hearing and balance difficulties. The job scope involves the evaluation of hearing loss and related disorders of the auditory system, as well as providing audiological rehabilitation to adults. An audiologist selects, fits, and dispenses amplification systems, such as hearing aids, tinnitus maskers, cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing aids, middle-ear implant, and other assistive listening devices, such as FM system. Job Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities .
