About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Audit Assistant to join our dynamic team at LAI KWANG HOOI & CO in Penang. This full-time position will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the accounting and auditing field, as well as gain exposure to tax-related responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the planning, execution and reporting of audit engagements for a diverse range of clients
• Performing detailed analysis of financial statements and supporting documentation
• Preparing audit working papers and documentation to support audit findings
• Providing support in the preparation of tax returns and related submissions
• Conducting research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
