Audit Senior

Role Overview:

The role of an Audit Senior includes assisting with the planning, execution, and finalisation of audit engagements. This involves overseeing and coaching team members, performing a first-level review of their work, and reporting to the Audit Supervisor or Audit Manager on team performance and audit progress. Additionally, the Audit Senior ensures effective communication channels are maintained to deliver an efficient and high-quality audit engagement.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Managing own audit engagements, attending to client queries
• Completing planning and the high-risk finalisation sections in the audit engagement
• Setting sample sizes and design audit procedures during the execution stage of the audit engagement
• Client meetings
• Providing audit advice on audit issues to trainees (as and when required)
• Reporting to Audit Supervisor on ongoing audit engagement
