Auto Painter

Job Summary

The Auto Painter is responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces and applying paint, coatings, and finishes to ensure high-quality appearance and protection. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of painting techniques, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning
• Mix and match paint colors according to manufacturer specifications
• Apply paint using spray guns and other equipment
• Ensure smooth, even, and high-quality paint finishes
• Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups as needed
• Maintain painting tools, spray booths, and equipment in good working condition
• Follow safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Comply with environmental regulations for paint and chemical handling
• Coordinate with body repair technicians and supervisors
