Automation Engineer

Duration of assignment: 12 months. FTE or Subcon: FTE. Work Location: Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust Cypress automation frameworks; create end-to-end, API, and regression test suites; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions); mentor junior QA engineers; establish automation best practices and standards across the organization.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Cypress proficiency (5+ years); strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js; experience with modern web frameworks (React/Angular/Vue); CI/CD tools integration; API testing; Page Object Model design patterns; Git version control.

Technical Expertise

• Custom Cypress commands/plugins, network stubbing, parallel execution, Docker containerization, test reporting (Mochawesome/Allure), cross-browser testing, performance testing concepts.
